JAVA EE Developer

As a Java JEE guru you are responsible:

  • To design, develop and unit test complex and performant JEE applications with high quality.
  • To help identify key improvements and contribute in putting them in place.
  • To take the lead on the quality of the delivery by playing a proactive role in the testing process
  • To analyze legacy application processes and interfaces and to upgrade them to a higher level of performance and security.
  • To work in close collaboration with the project team to reach the common goal.
  • To upgrade your skills through multiple JEE projects and to share your expertise within the company.
  • To coach and help junior profiles to reach their full potential.
  • You are a passionate developer with at lease 2 years of experience as a Java JEE developer.
  • Technologies like HTML5, JSF, JSP, servlets and PrimeFaces have no secrets for you.
  • You are very accurate, stress resistant, quality oriented and you have strong analytical skills.
  • You are a real team player and you are a source  of inspiration to your team members and colleagues.
  • You communicate fluently in English and Dutch or French.

As “nice to have”

  • Practical knowledge of one or more of the following backend technologies: Spring, Hibernate, Restful webservices, XML and Maven.
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies like Angular or React.
  • Knowledge of the ins and outs of at least one commercial JEE environment like Oracle Service Bus, IBM Websphere AS or JBoss Application Server, and a non-commercial product like Tomcat or Geronimo
