Trainer / Coach (Java)

Function

At Realdolmen, we do everything we can to assist our clients in the best possible way with their IT challenges and issues. Our consultants work with the client to find the right solutions for them and our trainers pass on their knowledge. Learning is central to what we do.

Do you have a background in Java development but would rather work with people than write code? Are you always up to date with the latest news and can’t wait to explain it to others? Join Realdolmen Education as an ICT Trainer to provide training within Java (backend and/or frontend), and make a difference by helping our employees and those of our clients to develop and expand their knowledge!

Never a dull day

During training, you’ll guide students through a programme tailored to the client, catering to a very diverse audience – you can be sure that your job will never be boring! The courses take place in Dutch and English. If you can also do this in French, even better, but it’s not a must!

With over 1,000 training courses per year for both employees and clients, you’ll be part of a close-knit group of trainers, technical writers and support staff. Training takes place at Realdolmen premises (mainly Huizingen and Ghent) or at clients.

Our hashtag to tell existing and new employees what we stand for as an employer. But also the hashtag that conveys our pride. We have plenty of strengths and daily successes to celebrate.

From flute to app: rat-catchers of the 21st century

It may seem like it's a profession from a long time ago, but nothing could be further from the truth: in Flanders, multiple rat control teams spend each day studying and catching rats and other animals that you would rather not have running around your floor. They have been using an app to help them in their work for a few years now. The enchanting qualities of the flute have been replaced by the power of technology.

Organizations don't change – people do

At the end of June we held the first module in our Digital Flow Masterclass at the Havenhuis in Antwerp. Our focus was on the cultural aspect of the digital transformation 4.0. Experts such as Peter De Prins and Kurt Verweire worked on this topic with decision makers from a wide range of companies.

How I got there, together with Realdolmen

Starting at a new company is always exciting. To Annelies (intern marketing), that first day, filled with a thousand and one impressions, seems only a few weeks ago. "If I could do my internship all over again, I would not hesitate for a second. One thing is certain, this internship has flown by. And you know what they say, time flies when you're having fun!"
