Solution Sales Datacenter



In order to achieve our ambitious growth goals, your focus is on hunt turnover from initially NEW customers as well as existing customers. This can be done by extending existing contracts in terms of scope, or by offering Infrastructure Services, Outsourcing & Reselling (ISOR) services to Realdolmen customers, where Outsourcing was previously not an issue.

You are responsible for the sales activities of solutions across the IT spectrum (infrastructure> applications> network> server> (workplace).

External focus is a requirement, but you can only achieve success by building the right network internally

Your role consists of

  • Identifying market potential and qualifying accounts, possibly in the form of a strategic account plan / annual account plan
  • Ensuring personal contact with customers regarding solutions, presales information, quotes, orders and deliveries with the aim of achieving predetermined targets.
  • Make agreements by building a relationship, developing a thorough explanation of product and service and initiating new applications
  • Presenting new products and / or promos interesting for your customers as well as maintenance and installation services
  • Increase revenue from existing accounts by offering new products and services, spotting market opportunities and further developing them into commercial products
  • Keeping correct administration including contracts, e-mail handling, quotations
  • Keeping up-to-date professional knowledge
  • Meeting sales results by achieving expected sales and targets

  • You have work experience within Datacenter solutions, both products and services
  • You can work independently, but know the power of teamwork
  • You are praised for your commercial attitude
  • You can express yourself in conversations in Dutch as well as in French and English.
  • A problem is primarily an opportunity for which you find a solution
  • You are stress resistant and your focus on deadlines means you keep your appointments
  • You always succeed in translating the business needs of the customers into Realdolmen solutions
  • You give a presentation with flair and your audience hangs on your lips
  • During negotiations you seek the balance between the interests of the customer and those of Realdolmen.
  • If you put your teeth in something you will not lose before you have reached your goal.

Mask on? Our algorithm will check

Over the past few weeks, it has become clear that we cannot put our masks into storage just yet. Some people are even predicting that they will become a permanent part of our outfit. We all now know that wearing a mask is an important shield in the fight against the coronavirus. However, in practice there are still people who do not wear them or at least not properly. We trained an algorithm to detect this. By installing a smart camera, you can send targeted passers-by or customers a message to say that a mask is mandatory or even deny them access if they are not wearing a mask.

Fact or myth: success with Industry 4.0 doesn't depend on technology

Industry 4.0 has the capacity to improve a company's sustainable growth, competitiveness and capacity for innovation. New opportunities may also open up for employees; it is highly unlikely that they will simply be replaced by robots. Where robots and automation cannot deliver – especially where there is a need for complex action, creativity, experience or decision-making in unexpected situations – human workers will still be essential. In other words, Smart Industry is not solely about technology. It is also important to focus on the other – and probably more significant – added values.
