Senior Unit Manager Service Desk & Field Services

Within the IT Outsourcing department you are responsible for a diverse team of IT professionals who aim for an optimized user experience through Service Desk & Field activities.

As the manager you develop the potential of the IT Professionals, individual and as a team, and optimize processes and organisation onto your vision of the future.

You will work mostly in our office in Huizingen.

Your responsibilities include the following:

People management

  • Implementing the Realdolmen story board and leadership principles by inspiring your people with the story, helping them to win and making them grow
  • Supporting, coaching, challenging and motivating team and team members
  • Hiring, onboarding and compensation management
  • Support your employees in their Personal Development

Operational management

  • Resource & capacity management
  • Operational follow-up of your team through your SLA coordinator and Resource coordinator
  • Collaborating with and supporting of other Realdolmen units and divisions
  • Contributing to and reporting on unit objectives, strategies, budgets and KPI’s

Knowledge management

  • Expanding and realizing a vision in the field of Helpdesk and Field services as they will evolve in the future.
  • Gap analysis between expected infrastructure technologies demand and the existing competence level of your team.
  • Organize knowledge assurance and dissemination through the use of the training, community operation and documentation.
