Senior PMO Officer

YOUR FUNCTION:

The Project Management Office (PMO) plays a vital role in Realdolmen’s customer projects and  internal change initiatives. Its objective is to increase their added value, their profitability and to reduce their risk-sensitivity at the same time.

This is achieved by:

  • Implementing and continuously improving an adapted set of processes and practices, combined with a suitable, result-oriented project governance
  • Providing insights through structured reporting and interpretation of figures
  • Continuously monitoring day to day operations, and providing practical support
  • Settings up structured Knowledge Management and Knowledge Sharing initiatives

The tasks of the Senior PMO Officer are very broad, and cover the Governance, Operational, Methodological and People aspects of a project.

  • Gather and combine figures, and convert them in actionable insights for management and PM
  • Provide support and coaching to Project Managers and their community
  • Execute regular follow-up and control through Internal Project Boards (IPB)
  • Support related Financial and Quality Assurance processes (revenue recognition, auditing, …)

The Senior PMO Officer is no substitute for the Project Manager or the Business Manager, but creates an environment that provides maximum support and insights to both of them.

PMO is the owner of the RPM (Realdolmen Project Management) framework, a set of processes and good practices related to every step in the project lifecycle.

Every PMO Officer is responsible for the continuous improvement of the PMO’s service level and added value, by looking for patterns in the portfolio, and defining new initiatives to address recurring issues. The RPM is continuously adapted to new methods and evolutions in the market and our customer’s needs.

You will report directly to the Industrialisation Director, and form a team with the other PMO Officers.

 

YOUR PROFILE:

  • You have thorough knowledge and experience in Project Management and its challenges
  • You have good insights in project-related stakeholders and their individual needs and expectations
  • You have an analytical mindset that enables you to extract insights and patterns from data, making the distinction between main- and side-issues
  • You have good communication skills and a strong dose of empathy
  • You are fluent in Dutch and comfortable with French and English 
  • You are pro-active, strong willed, dynamic and results driven
  • You have good knowledge of Microsoft Excel (PowerPivot). Knowledge of Power BI is a bonus.
