As .NET Team Lead, you are responsible for coaching and building a team. This team consists of .NET consultants ranging from graduates who take their first steps in their career to consultants with more than 20 years of experience. You are a central point of contact at both technical as coaching level. You communicate frequently with the Business People Manager of Microsoft who will help and coach you to grow in your role.


Preferably, you have experience with or interest in:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for team members
  • Taking on a significant role in the recruitment of new colleagues: you participate in the (technical) screening and have interviews with candidates
  • Being responsible for the onboarding and coaching of (new) employees to ensure a smooth integration in the team
  • Follow-up of your team members
  • Preparing and conducting competence conversations with your team members
  • Guiding your team members throughout their career by discussing growth and internal mobility possibilities.
  • Providing advice to your Business People Manager Microsoft about performance, training, merit & promotions of your team members.

This balanced program with a dura-tion of 18 months primarily targets colleagues with a certain level of technical know-how and experience, such as senior software developers and technical con-sultants. Screening and an initial assessment finally resulted in nine colleagues beginning the process to retrain as software architects. Each was assigned an experienced architect to act as their coach.
