MDM Consultant

Function

 

You are an expert in the field of master data management and data integration. You have vision on the data management landscape and you know how to navigate through business and IT landscapes of many kinds.  You are very much hands-on in one or more data management solutions (MDM, ETL, …) and you know how data is produced and used, which people are involved and what they want from their data. By engaging with customers on a day to day basis you will translate customer demands into high quality solutions. It goes without saying that you are a real team player and a problem solver.

You day-to-day tasks are, but are not limited to,:

  • Manage data and information
  • Set up data governance
  • Perform information modeling and make glossaries
  • Do data cleansing, data migration and maintain high-quality data
  • Improve business processes and industrial processes, especially when data is involved
  • Refine data into information to create added value
  • Use information for decision making, supporting both knowledge workers and technicians
  • Setup and manage master data management solutions for customers.
  • Evaluate incoming requests with the different business stakeholders.
  • Design innovative and efficient solutions together with our customers.
  • Implement solutions for all impacted processes and applications
  • Continuously update and improve Master Data documentation.
  • Develop and deliver operational and provide support to the customer Master Data teams.

Your profile

  • You have a hands-on background in ETL, Master data management, Big Data, data streaming ;
  • You have experience with Informatica, Profisee and/or Microsoft data solutions.
  • Other solutions such as Dell Boomi, Talend, Stibo Orchestra, IBM is also relevant of course.
  • You have knowledge or ambition to learn about cloud solutions and hybrid solutions.
  • You know about data architecture, data base modelling, dimensional modelling, master data architecture.
