Lead Site Reliability Engineer

YOUR FUNCTION:

  • As a Lead DevOps SRE, you’re responsible for managing and maintaining our tooling landscape in collaboration with other operational teams. The main role of this lead is to manage a team in an agile DevOps/SRE setting to streamline our  internal systems, tooling and processes to support our customers.
  • As a leading Infrastructure MSP in Belgium we’re recruiting an experienced DevOps / SRE Lead to help us to take our internal systems, tooling and automation to the next level. At Inetum-Realdolmen we are committed to building systems in an agile manner, in order to build a flexible and scalable tooling landscape/platform capable of supporting the customer (internal and external) requirements.
  • The main goal is to manage the tooling landscape so that our 24/7 infrastructure operations teams can rely on a highly automated and flexible tooling architecture supporting their needs.
  • We are looking for a candidate who wants to contribute in setting up and managing a team of SRE’s, fulfilling the team lead role and helping Inetum-Realdolmen in continuing its leading role in the IT outsourcing market. This position is a key role on the engineering team and will be responsible for maintaining mission critical internal systems supporting the operational processes.

YOUR PROFILE:

  • You’re experienced in project management and service delivery management.
  • You’re experienced in leading an agile team
  • You have an open mind and are a creative problem-solver.
  • You’re diplomatic, always calm and good in organizing
  • You’re a strong team player 
  • Capability to communicate fluently in Dutch & English 
  • You’re familiar with the following technical concepts: OS, server platforms, storage, networking, security, 3-tier, collaboration, application delivery (server-based computing, software distribution), management systems
  • You have experience with automation and API programming
  • Nice to have knowledge:
    • Python programming
    • PowerShell/bash scripting/API Rest/Linux/Git
    • Azure DevOps
    • ITIL processes
    • ITSM tools
    • Working as a Managed Services Provider
