Junior Financial Analyst

Inetum-Realdolmen offices and home office, Antwerp, Flanders - Belgium

Support the Business analyst with  the monthly close process, Monthly/quarterly F’cast, monthly reporting, annual preparation of a budget for one or  more divisions.  Reports to the Manager Controlling


Essential Functions:

  • Support preparation of annual Division budget  
  • Support Analyses and report  by department and compare costs incurred to budget and performance analysis of profit centers
  • Preparation of reporting dashboards supporting the monthly close process
  • Ad hod Analytical review of the monthly operating result of the division
  • Support Preparation of Monthly/Quarterly forecast incorporating historical results and future assumptions
  • Support adequate and effective internal controls
  • Accurate and timely production of all financial information
  • Support any other analytical responsibilities (business case) that may be assigned from time to time.
  • Support the Business Analyst and Manager of Controlling



  • Bachelor (and/or Masters) Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting.


  • 1-3  years experience in the accounting
  • 1-3 years experience managing accountants and the accounting and finance process.



  • Credibility, ethical, full disclosure and clean financial history
  • Confidential, understands the ethical standards
  • Conscientious about timeliness of assignments and quality of work product
  • Accountable for specific performance
  • Financial reporting technical skills
  • IT minded
  • Process mindedness
  • Experience in the (IT-) services business



  • Good computer skills
  • Knowledge of tooling/software of TM1, Datawarehouse, SAP, Power BI,



Typical Mental Demands:

  • Active knowledge of Dutch,  French and English
  • Sense for detail and accuracy,
  • Well organized with sense of priorities
  • Team player
  • Task and goal oriented and capable of functioning in an entrepreneurial and corporate setting with thight deadlines
