HR Business Partner

Function

As HR Business Partner you act as a partner of the management of the assigned business unit (s) and on the other hand as a direct point of contact for the employees in the same business unit (s). This with the objective of providing optimal support in the roll-out of the HR policy and at the same time developing the employees involved.

As an HR Business Partner you are responsible for handling the following tasks:

  • Support and coach the first line management in their role of People manager
  • Cap information and search for solutions in collaboration with the Compensation & Benefits team, the recruitment team or learning & development
  • Working on HR projects, covering the four quadrants of the Quinn model
  • Provide information and advice related to personnel matters, ranging from social legislation, collective agreements and insurance to regional and federal regulated matters
    • Answers to questions asked by employees and management
    • Examination of the relevant documentation
    • Stay up-to-date in the relevant subject matter
    • Consult external sources if necessar
  • Daily monitoring of operational tasks for the assigned organization unit (s) in partnership with the managers in that unit (s) and possibly in consultation with external partners
  • Monitor the correct execution of the agreed HR policies
  • Coordinate HR projects within the assigned organization unit (s) and this in line with the policies that have been set out
  • Communicating HR policies and guidelines within the assigned organization unit (s)
  • Follow the correct implementation of the policies and guidelines within the assigned organization unit (s) and timely and correctly intervene in non-compliance
  • Advising HR management when publishing policies and guidelines, so that they remain in line with the relevant regulations and legislation

Your profile

  • 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in a broad generalist HR role, preferably in a services environment
  • Good knowledge of Dutch, French and English
  • Affinity with working in a high-tech environment with ditto profiles
  • Smooth communication at all levels in the organization: from employees, over managers to C-level
  • Belgian social legislation has no secrets for you
  • You are an absolute team player who can also be his or her own individual
