YOUR FUNCTION:

You are the key  person in our  & fullstack software development projects. You are passionate about delivering high quality software solutions. You are aspiring to be a software and solution architect.

As a Lead Developer, you will be in charge of projects from start to end. It is your job to detect problems early and fix them with the right solution as fast as possible. You are skilled in turning a functional and non-functional requirements into a technical analysis with the supporting architecture.

For this function, you are mainly working for our DevOps software projects at our customers or in our offices (Partial Homework is an option).

 

YOUR PROFILE:

  • You are an experienced Java developer with a real passion for code.
  • You want to develop as a software architect or solution architect.
  • You have an experience for delivery high quality software projects and can lead the team to quality and success.
  • You lead development teams in our DevOps Factory.
  • Are you our next technical know-it-all? Tell us more about Java Framework and Java, Java web technologies, Spring framework, Spring boot, JPA/ Hibernate, about SOLID and REST, build us a RESTful WebApi’s and write us performant SQL queries!
  • You are versed in agile development and you can pick up the role of scrum master in the project.
  • You are happy to coach more junior developers and bring them to the next level.
  • You work with Application and Solutions architects to define and finetune the he application architectures and designs.
  • You are not afraid to challenge the status quo. You apply the right designs to solve the relevant concerns/problems.
  • You  are familiar with the technical architecture of a project, based on the needs and requirements of the customer?
  • Fluent in Dutch & English
  • You are a full stack software engineer who is not afraid to do some script;
  • You can handle AngularJS and/or React and other modern front-end technologies. 
  • You have DevOps skills and a DevOps attitude. You own the solutions you help build.

Mask on? Our algorithm will check

Over the past few weeks, it has become clear that we cannot put our masks into storage just yet. Some people are even predicting that they will become a permanent part of our outfit. We all now know that wearing a mask is an important shield in the fight against the coronavirus. However, in practice there are still people who do not wear them or at least not properly. We trained an algorithm to detect this. By installing a smart camera, you can send targeted passers-by or customers a message to say that a mask is mandatory or even deny them access if they are not wearing a mask.

Fact or myth: success with Industry 4.0 doesn't depend on technology

Industry 4.0 has the capacity to improve a company's sustainable growth, competitiveness and capacity for innovation. New opportunities may also open up for employees; it is highly unlikely that they will simply be replaced by robots. Where robots and automation cannot deliver – especially where there is a need for complex action, creativity, experience or decision-making in unexpected situations – human workers will still be essential. In other words, Smart Industry is not solely about technology. It is also important to focus on the other – and probably more significant – added values.
