Architect (Engaged workplace)

Function

If taking the reins and bringing a vision to life for the entire Engaged Workplace cluster sounds like what you’re after, you’re in the right place. As an Engaged Workplace Architect, you’ll turn this vision into reality by building roadmaps for clients. This is your chance to take on a leadership role, and manage other technical experts.

“What is the business trying to achieve and what do they need in order to make it happen?” You’re the bridge between our clients’ business and their IT. Taking client requirements and coming up with long-term IT solutions is a breeze for you.

Creating an overarching, consistent architecture? That’s second nature to you. You’re all about developing technological vision and strategy, turning principles and guidelines into a detailed set of models.

As an Architect, you also know how to be there for clients, to give them the support they need for their chosen solution.

You see the bigger picture, beyond technical adjustments, and you make it happen working closely with all stakeholders. You know just how important consensus is.

Your profile

  • You have a good handle on business, information, information systems and infrastructure architecture, and you’re an expert in at least one of these.
  • You know how to work with Architecture principles, Architecture frameworks and IT Governance.
  • You’re particularly good with the technology deployed within the Engaged Workplace cluster (Application & Desktop Delivery, Unified Communications, Enterprise Mobility Management, Application Delivery Controllers, Collaboration, Security…).
  • You’re always looking for the latest ways of working.
  • You’re better than most at analytics and high-level abstraction.
  • You’re good at communicating and convincing people, and a great negotiator.
  • You value other people’s feelings and perspectives, and actively hear their concerns.
  • You have a master’s degree, or equivalent experience.
  • You’re fluent in Dutch and English, and maybe even French, too.

Our offer

  • Benefits that let you live in style: different net allowances, electronic meal vouchers and EcoCheques.
  • Peace of mind, with our group & health insurance and hospitalization insurance
  • Never worry about the price of gas – enjoy a company car with a fuel card, on us
  • Plenty of time to enjoy life, with 32 days of paid leave
  • Keep growing and get ahead, with our wide range of training courses and opportunities
  • Take your career in the direction you want, with a personal development plan tailored to your goals
  • Live better for less, with employee perks like discounts at Collishop, Stevie, mobile cloud services, and much more.

Our hashtag to tell existing and new employees what we stand for as an employer. But also the hashtag that conveys our pride. We have plenty of strengths and daily successes to celebrate.

The secret is the mix of talent

Everyone grows, thanks to the ideal combination of young and experienced talent!

We are therefore convinced that a team with the right mix of youth and experience, with their own typical talents, works best for everyone. That way the customer, employee and employer get the best of both worlds.

Optimisation and maximum unburdening from hardware and software licenses

Forward-thinking business leaders understand that digital transformation, ‘digital first’, is necessary to remain relevant in the future. They’re increasingly looking to the CIO and IT department not just to facilitate this transformation, but also to be proactive in making intelligent use of technological innovation.

No more performance pressure on infrastructure with SaaS

Rapid technological evolution and digital transformation can no longer be stopped. All companies are undoubtedly undergoing a change process. And one of the main changes in the IT landscape is applications increasingly being offered ‘as a service’ and run in the cloud instead of on own servers.
